Google Payment via Western Union

I have been the beta tester of Google Payment via Western Union since last December until it was lifted out of Beta. I must agree that getting paid from Google via Western Union has the main advantage that you will get your money about a month earlier than if get it via check. That translated to a few hundred dollars a year base on current 1 Month FD interest of 3.35 %. Not to mention that you will also save the USD 24 cheque delivery fee via DHL.

My experience of fund collection at CIMB is that the queue at the Western Union can sometime be very long but since I am a premium banking customer of CIMB, I did not need to queue.

Unless during the beta period, Google set the maximum payment via Western Union at USD 2800 and for those whose month earning is more than 2800USD will have to rely on cheque payment again :-(
